Most chemical peels are used in conjunction with skin care products to significantly boost the results for the concern presented: acne, lightening, pore reduction, rejuvenation. Usually 3 treatments are recommended 2-3 weeks apart and then maintenance treatments are recommended for optimal long term results, every 1-3 months.
The chemical peels we have chosen are considered "lunch-time" peels in that you should be able to have one and resume your activities and makeup immediately. Occasionally, there is peeling, but generally speaking it is quite mild. The one peel that does have a few days of peeling is the Jessner's peel, which is a little bit stronger for people who are able to tolerate a few days of peeling and want something a bit more aggressive.TYPES OF PEELS INCLUDE
This 30% salicylic acid peel will remove dead surface cells that produce a dull appearance on the skin, revealing a bright, blended skin tone and smooth texture. The Beta Peel will clean and tighten pores, balance the oil-secretion of the skin, and reduce discolorations. This peel is great for oily, acne-prone skin, or unevenly pigmented skin.Gel Peel GL
This peel combines 20% glycolic and 10% lactic acids. They work together to exfoliate the skin without causing excessive irritation and dryness. This cell renewal process will stimulate collagen synthesis and will improve elastin fibers in the dermis. The Gel Peel GL uses a combination of alpha hydroxy acids to revitalize photo-damaged skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.Gel Peel SM
This peel combines 20% salicylic and 10% mandelic acids. They work synergistically to exfoliate the skin while decongesting pores. Although one of the strongest alpha hydroxy acids, mandelic acid does not cause inflammation and irritation that can sometimes occur with alpha hydroxyl acid use. This light chemical peel will help revitalize sensitive and problematic skin.Jessner Peel
This peel combines salicylic acid, lactic acid, and resorcinol acid to achieve smoother, brighter and healthier skin. Most often recommend for sun-damaged and hyper-pigmented skin.
